This year, we ditched the usual Secret Santa in favour of the Shoebox Appeal for Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Operation.
Led by Santa’s latest recruits, our Social Committee*, everyone got together to fill shoeboxes with presents to bring a little joy to children around the world.
Thanks to everyone at Pinnacle who supported the initiative, their efforts will hopefully help to put a smile on a few faces over the festive period.

Employee health is high on the agenda at Pinnacle. When your team feels looked after, then clients feel it too.
There is a lot on people’s minds. After the Covid pandemic, ongoing concern over global warming and the cost-of-living crisis, it’s important to us that we check in on our staff and their wellbeing.
Now, with Mental Health First Aiders firmly in place and classes such as yoga on-site, these are just some of the ongoing initiatives at Pinnacle to support our people.

We are delighted to announce our continued sponsorship of Calan Williams, 23 year old racing driver with BMW M Team WRT throughout 2024.
Calan has been having an incredible year so far, and we are thrilled to be on this journey with him. Following his recent participation at Spa 24 Hour in Belgium in the Fanatec GT, the remainder of the season will see him race at Hockenheim, Magny-Cours, and Barcelona.
But, let’s not forget Calan hasn’t reached this level of success by chance. His achievements are a result of gritty determination, a dedicated team and family, and meticulous planning. That’s why we are so proud to support Calan, seeing his performance as a culmination of the effort, preparation, and skill he puts into his sport.

Mental Health Awareness Week (13 May – 19 May) sees the launch of Pinnacle’s internal wellbeing programme, bringing focus to both physical and psychological wellbeing, spearheaded by Georgina Birch (Assoc CIPD), HR Associate.
Georgina explains “We’re delivering a thoughtful programme of activities that bring the whole team together through exercise, workshops, opportunities to give back and to connect. It will recognise that not one size fits all, and acknowledge the benefits of making small changes to improve your wellbeing.
“We’re looking forward to a fun week ahead to kick things off whilst also raising awareness on how we can all support our own and our colleagues’ mental health.”

There are a lot of tired running legs in the office but all for a good cause!
Four of the Pinnacle team have been taking on a variety of running events over April and May to raise money for charities close to their hearts.
🏃♂️ Ben Rotchford (pictured here) ran at the Sheffield Half Marathon for Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma in memory of the sister of one of his closest friends.
🏃♂️ Harry Wellington will be running a half marathon for the inclusive adults’ football team he coaches that’s part of the charity Frontline.
🏃♂️ Matthew Adams will be participating in Hyrox, a fitness race to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
🏃♀️ Samantha Meek will be running 5k at Race for Life for Cancer Research UK.
Hats off and trainers on to Ben, Harry, Matt and Sam and we wish them all the best with their events and fundraising.
